{screaming in the background}
{more screaming in the background}
{I think I am waking up, but not really sure}
"Mama.
Mama."
"There's Mommy, Hannah.
She's right there."
{eyes slowly opening}
(we'll skip forward through the diaper change)
"Hannah, Here's sissy.
I Love You. Do you love sissy?"
{silence}
"We're having a love party"
{Laying in bed with the two girls, smiling at the thought that my four year old just said we were having a love party. Couldn't possibly start the day any better.}

My Pre-K'er
Monday was Hailey's first "Official" day of Pre-K.
That meant uniforms.
Too friggin cute.
Unfortunately, at this point she was very mad at me and wouldn't smile.
This is the most accurate of early morning looks though.

Our trip to Houston (in photos)
So, unfortunately, there aren't really any pics of us with the folks we went to visit.
That really stinks 'cause we really had a great time with them.
Good friends, good company.
(Even if I am told I look like I am carrying ;))
So, here are some pics of the girls.
As you can tell they both had a blast.
Thanks guys, for having us.
We can't let so much time go by before the next visit.
XOXOXO

Picasso
We sure do miss Daddy on Saturday's.
I snapped a few while we were doing what we do best;
Minding my own business,
But we always find something to do.
Nothing that is usually all that interesting,
but it always amazes me how easy it is to entertain
a (newly turned) four year old and a one year old.
This Saturday was not different.
Except I have a stolen camera again,
it has been a while.
I snapped a few while we were doing what we do best;
making things M E S S Y
Minding my own business,
watching Georgie race back up
to join the break away that tried to ditch him.
But he is a great decender.
I digress.
"Ryann, Where's the camera?"
(thought: Ugh, do I really have to get up?
You know where the camera is.
This had better be worth it!)
I will let you be the judge.
I loooovvve me some baby tootsies,
green and all!

Taller than a Pig
So not sure if any of you have seen that commercial where the pigs are eating at a dinner table.
(in case you haven't it's over on the right: http://www.boostmobilecommunity.com/videos/?video_id=16524)
Well, Hailey was in bed with us the other night.
The commercial came on.
As it was on, I said to no one in particular:
"Hey, it looks like Mommy."
"No, Mommy, you're taller."
Not a second's hesitation from her,
This was of course followed by laughter from the other adult party in the room.
Thanks a lot, Honey.
Love you too.

Camera Envy
Ever since I bought my first SLR (thanks a lot Abbey), I've craved the digital version.
But back then they were like $1500.
You can develop A LOT of film for $1200.
Plus, back then I didn't have two precious little people to take 1k shots a month of.
But things have changed.
Prices have dropped.
Mouths have been added.
Mouths that change by the hour, or so it seems.
Mouths that change by the hour, or so it seems.
Mouths that make the days months go by in what seems like days.
Mouths changing so rapidly that I DEFINATELY need to be documenting everything!
(Mouths that constantly need my attention thus preventing time required to document.)
(Mouths that constantly need my attention thus preventing time required to document.)
So when Adam purchased a Canon DSLR, I was instantly envious.
I have been plotting ways to steal it ever since.
Adam on the other hand has been clicking away and getting great shots like:
But Adam showed up at my desk yesterday with his camera bag!
And guess what?
Yep, I am not giving it back.
Not until Trevor buys me one of my very own.
Not until Trevor buys me one of my very own.
'Cause look:
This is the most classic of "Hailey looks".

And I have never been able to capture a smile like this of Hannah's.

Oh, and sorry about your luck. :)
